Kevin Allen is the principal of the Allen Attorney Group. He is an experienced trial attorney whose practice focuses on employment law and class action litigation. Kevin was named a “Rising Star” in employment law by the Northern California Super Lawyers Magazine for 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017.
He has published articles about employment law topics and is the founder/moderator of the California Wage and Hour Class Action group. He is a former board member of the Employment Law section of the Contra Costa County Bar Association.
Kevin gained significant experience working for several prominent employment and class action law firms in the Bay Area. He has helped thousands of employees recover millions of dollars in damages and unpaid wages. He has also advised small-to-medium sized employers on wage and hour issues and defended clients against individual and class action lawsuits. Kevin also routinely advises and helps negotiate severance agreements for both employers and employees. This experience representing both employees and employers makes the Allen Attorney Group somewhat unique and is an advantage when it comes to litigation strategy and negotiations.
Kevin Allen is perhaps best known for his wage and hour class action practice and frequently acts as co-counsel with plaintiff’s side law firms throughout California. He also has broad experience litigating traditional employment law cases, claims for trade secret misappropriation, and other business related disputes.
